Molly (Driscoll) Santry captained the women’s hockey team and played on the golf team while attending Brown. She was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy in 1994-95 for her efforts on the ice, helping the Bears finish in a tie for first in the ECAC.

In her senior year, Santry also was the Panda Cup recipient for hockey, which is given to the player who demonstrated outstanding team spirit, good sportsmanship and dedication to the sport. As a member of the golf team, Santry and the program competed against the URI men’s team, with Santry earning a point in the match to help the Bears upset the Rams.

Santry is currently the Senior Manager, Global Philanthropy at the New Balance Foundation. She started working for New Balance right after graduation in 1995, and spent the first half of her career in marketing, working on a variety of marketing initiatives that included brand advertisement, media buying, consumer research, sponsorship and web site management. Santry also coordinated New Balance’s corporate hospitality program at the Atlanta, Sydney and Athens Summer Olympics.

In 2004, Santry started the shift from marketing to corporate philanthropy where she currently manages the New Balance Foundation, corporate giving, in-kind giving and global volunteerism. The Foundation’s concentration is the prevention of childhood obesity. The organization distributes approximately $6.5 million annually to non-profit partners.

Santry has remained involved in hockey since graduation. She spent four years as an assistant coach at Harvard in the late ’90’s and followed as a volunteer assistant at Noble and Greenough School for two years. She presently helps with her daughter’s U10 hockey team.

Santry and her husband, Bob, have three children, Julia (10), Jack (8) and Rose (4).
