Brian Murphy Named Assistant Baseball Coach
Head coach Marek Drabinski recently announced the addition of Brian Murphy as an assistant coach for the 2009-2010 baseball season. Murphy comes to Brown from Bryant University, where he spent four years as the Bulldogs' hitting coach.

Nuzzo Drafted by Toronto Blue Jays
Brown infielder Matt Nuzzo (Everett, MA) was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 24th round (730th overall) of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft in early June. Nuzzo, a First Team All-Ivy honoree, becomes the 18th Brown player chosen since MLB began having a draft in 1965 and the seventh player drafted during Head Coach Marek Drabinski's 13 years at Brown. Nuzzo is currently the starting second baseman with the Auburn (NY) Blue Jays of the Short-Season-A New York-Penn League.

Pete Greskoff Named NEIBA All-Star
Sophomore Pete Greskoff (Paoli, PA) was named to the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association All-Star Team recently, as his terrific 2009 season was recognized with a spot as the designated hitter. Greskoff will join 24 other players from the University Division on Thursday, when they take on the College Division in the 35th Annual All-Star Game.
