Bears Place 8th At Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship
April 29, 2012Despite an eighth place finish at the 2012 Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship, the Brown men’s golf team earned a bit of redemption with the fourth best score (308) in Sunday’s final round, played at the par 71 Galloway National Golf Club. Freshman Justin Miller led the Bears with a 54-hole 239.
Men’s Golf Eighth After Day Two of Ivy Championship
Day two of the Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship is completed and the Brown men’s golf team is eighth overall after 36-holes in the tournament held at the par-71 Galloway National Golf Club. Play will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday, April 29, with the Bears teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
Rough Opening Day For Men’s Golf At The Ivy Championship
The Brown men’s golf team struggled in windy conditions during the opening round of the Ivy League Golf Championship, played at the par-71, 6806 yard Galloway National Golf Club. The Bears shot an opening round 337 to place eighth after the first day of competition.
Bears Place 6th At The Century Invitational
Brown placed sixth at the Century Invitational with a two-round 628, battling rain and wind on Sunday, in the tournament played at the par-71, 6,925 yard Century Club. Freshman Justin Miller led the Bears with a sparkling 36-hole score of 148.
