Brown Lacrosse Names 2010 Team Captains/Announces 2009 Team Awards
October 21, 2009Brown men’s lacrosse coach Lars Tiffany has named seniors Thomas Muldoon (Oakton, VA), Charlie Kenney (Jamaica Plain, MA), Jake Westermann (Setauket, NY) and Reade Seligman (Essex Falls, NJ) team captains for the 2010 season. In addition, the team awards for the Bears’ 2009 NCAA Playoff team were presented at the team’s annual banquet.
Brown and North Carolina To Face-Off In San Francisco Lacrosse Classic
Brown and North Carolina, two of the giants of college lacrosse, will face-off in the inaugural San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic, a NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse event, at San Francisco’s Kezar Stadium on Saturday, October 10, 2009. For the first time in Northern California, thousands of fans and supporters will experience lacrosse played at the highest level when the Bears and Tar Heels take the field.
Brad Ross Named Assistant Lacrosse Coach
Former Duke lacrosse standout Brad Ross has been named an assistant coach for the Brown men’s lacrosse team in an announcement made by Brown head coach Lars Tiffany.
Errol Wilson Promoted To Top Assistant and Offensive Coordinator For Brown Lacrosse
After three seasons as an assistant coach with the Brown lacrosse team, Errol Wilson has been promoted to top assistant coach and offensive coordinator on the Bears’ staff in an announcement made by head coach Lars Tiffany. The Brown lacrosse team has prospered and grown in Wilson’s three years on the staff, with the Bears winning the Ivy League title in 2008, and gaining an NCAA Playoff berth in 2009.
