


Brad Thompson Named Winter Academic All-Ivy
April 4, 2012The Ivy League released its winter list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with 10 Brown student-athletes being recognized. The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity athlete teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.

Brown Places 16th Nationally At Hoehn Cup National Championship
Brown’s season came to an end at the 2012 College Squash Association National Championship with losses to Williams (7-2), Navy (8-1) and Bates (7-2), as the Bears finished 16th nationally at the Hoehn Cup.

Men’s Squash Drops 8-1 Decision To Dartmouth on Senior Day
The 16th-ranked Brown men’s squash team completed its 2012 regular season with an 8-1 loss to seventh-ranked Dartmouth at the Pizzitola Sports Center on Senior Day. The Bears (9-7) got a superior performance by sophomore Blake Reinson at number two, cruising to a 15-13, 11-9, 11-6 victory.

#16 Brown Falls To #4 Harvard, 9-0
Playing its final road game of the season, the 16th ranked Brown men's squash team ran into #4 Harvard, falling to the Crimson by a 9-0 margin. Blake Reison lost in four games to the Crimnson, while Harvard took the remaining eight matches, 3-0. Brown completes its regular season on Sunday, February 12, hosting Dartmouth. It's Senior Day at Brown's Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion with all the action starting at 2:00 p.m.
