Women's Golf Completes Play At Harvard Invitational

Brown women's golf completed play at the Harvard Invitational, placing 8th overall with a 54-hole 951 on rounds of 311-314-326 at the par 72, 6173 yard Oaks Club – Heron Course in Osprey, Florida.


Princeton captured the team championship with a narrow two shot win (894) over Boston University (896), followed by Harvard (905), Rollins (911), Penn (914), Yale (928), Dartmouth (940) and Brown (951).


Sophomore Elizabeth Doykan led the Brown team and placed 28th individually on rounds of 77-80-79—236.  Close behind was freshman Madeleine Garay, who shot 237 on rounds of 78-75-84 to place 30th individually.


Brown juniors Christine Kim and Sienna Chapman each shot 241, with Kim shooting 79-80-82, and Chapman carding scores of 81-79-81.  Freshman Grace Daly put together scores of 77-82.


Coach Danielle Griffith's team returns to Providence and will prepare for the Ivy League Championship, returning to Florida on April 21-23 to compete at the Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando, Florida..
