Bears Fifth At Ivy Women’s Golf Championship; Hsieh Named First Team All-Ivy
April 29, 2012Freshman Stephanie Hsieh earned All-Ivy honors and helped Brown to a fifth place finish at the 2012 Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, played at the Seaview Golf Resort Bay Course. Brown shot a 54-hole total of 985, while Harvard took home the team championship with a three-day 952.
Women’s Golf Fifth Following Day Two of Ivy League Championship
After two rounds of the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, played at the Seaview Golf Resort Bay Course, the Brown women’s golf team is fifth overall. The third and final round will be played on Sunday, April 29.
Women’s Golf Fifth After Round One of Ivy League Championship
The wind whipped through the par-71, 6,011 yard Seaview Golf Resort Bay Course and sent the scores for the first round of the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship higher than normal. In the end, Brown shot a team score of 345, tied for fifth place overall.
Second Place Finish For Bears At Brown Women’s Golf Invitational
While it’s always a goal to win your own tournament, the Brown women’s golf team did the next best thing, placing second at the 2012 Brown Women’s Golf Invitational, played at the par-72, 6,067-yard Rhode Island Country Club. The Bears made up five shots on first place St. Johns on the second day of play, but fell to the Red Storm by a five shot margin.
