  • Women’s Lacrosse Topples Quinnipiac, 18-7, To Open Season

    The Brown women's lacrosse team showcased its offense to open the 2018 season and defeated Quinnipiac 18-7 on Saturday at Stevenson-Pincince Field. The Bears cruised to a 12-3 halftime lead and controlled the second for the victory.

  • Women’s Lacrosse’s Trip to Portugal and Spain: Post Three

    The Brown women’s lacrosse team traveled to Portugal and Spain December 28 through January 5. On the trip, the Bears competed against the Dutch National Team, had numerous training sessions and took part in community service activities as well as site see and learn about different cultures. Sophomore Rachel Vercillo (Syracuse, N.Y.) and juniors Hafsa Moinuddin (Cheshire, Conn.) and Grace Plassche (Clinton, N.J.) will give us a look into their nine-day abroad experience.

    The Brown women’s lacrosse team released its 2018 schedule on Friday, Nov. 17. The 15-game slate features contests against six opponents that earned NCAA Tournament berths last season, including national runner-up Boston College.
  • Women's Lacrosse Awarded IWLCA Academic Honors

    The Brown women's lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the team’s efforts in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year. In addition, nine student-athletes made the IWLCA Honor Roll for achieving a 3.50 grade point average or higher.
  • Women’s Lacrosse Announces 11 Newcomers

    Brown women’s lacrosse head coach Keely McDonald ’00 announced the addition of 11 student-athletes set to join the program’s roster for the 2018 season. Ten members represent the class of 2021 while one transfer student-athlete joins the class of 2019. The newcomers include seven midfielders, two defenders, one attackman and one goalie.
