Water Polo’s Lauren Presant Earns Invite to Speedo Top 40

Providence, RI- Brown water polo’s senior Lauren Presant (Poway, CA) has recently been invited to the 2009 Speedo Top 40, U.S. National Team head coach Adam Krikorian announced this week. The three-day event runs from Oct. 23-25 at the USA Water Polo National Training Center.

Stephanie Laing ’10 Named ACWPC Honorable Mention All-American
Stephanie Laing (Ann Arbor, MI) has been named a Division I Women’s Water Polo Honorable Mention All-American for her outstanding performance on the Brown women’s water polo team this season as announced by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. Also, nine Bears have recently been named to the CWPA Women’s Scholar-Athlete team.

Spring Academic All-Ivy Honorees Announced
The Ivy League released its list of spring Academic All-Ivy honorees, with ten Brown student-athletes being recognized. The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.
